About LingoPath

We believe great teaching happens live, face-to-face, and personal, even when it’s online.

Our mission

LingoPath was founded to bring real classroom energy to online learning. Instead of static video courses that you watch alone, every class is a live, interactive session between teacher and student. Lessons are planned around one learner, not a syllabus broadcast to thousands, and everything that happens in them (homework, quizzes, exams, attendance) is recorded in one place, so progress is something you can actually see rather than guess at.

Why we built it

Most online English platforms fall into one of two camps: pre-recorded video libraries that nobody finishes, or marketplaces where you book a stranger by the hour and nothing carries over between lessons. Families kept telling us the same thing: they had no idea whether the money was working. LingoPath is our answer: real teachers who stay with the student, plus a shared record that the student, the parent, and the teacher can all see.

Live, not recorded

Every class is a real-time conversation with a teacher who can hear you, correct you, and adapt on the spot.

Individual attention

Lessons, homework, and quizzes are chosen and assigned per student, never blasted to a generic class feed.

Transparent progress

Students and parents always know what is due, what was scored, and which skills need work next.

What you get

Everything below is included on every package. The package only changes how many lesson hours you have.

Live one-to-one lessons

Face-to-face video lessons with a qualified teacher. Your teacher shares the meeting link, and the schedule lives in your dashboard.

Homework with real feedback

Teachers set homework with attachments, you submit text or files, and you get a grade plus written feedback rather than a silent tick.

Quizzes and exams

Timed quizzes and longer exams are marked automatically where possible and broken down by section, so you can see which part cost you marks.

Progress you can chart

Every graded piece of work feeds skill-by-skill charts for listening, reading, writing, and speaking, plus a trend line across the whole term.

A real parent view

Parents get their own read-only dashboard covering classes, homework, grades, and attendance, but only after the student approves the connection.

Messaging built in

Message your teacher or our team from inside the platform. Parents can message their child’s teacher directly too, so questions get answered without waiting for a meeting. Unread messages are flagged on your dashboard.

Who it is for

School students

Support alongside school, from catching up on the basics to pushing for a higher grade.

Exam candidates

Focused preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge exams, with practice marked the way examiners mark it.

Adult learners

Conversation confidence, business English, and academic writing, scheduled around a working week.

Frequently asked questions

How much do lessons cost?

You buy a package of lesson hours rather than paying per month, and the hours stay valid for the whole validity period of that package. Current prices are on the Pricing page, and the 20-minute trial lesson is free, so you can see how a lesson runs before paying anything.

How do you choose the teacher, and can we change if it is not a good fit?

We match a teacher to the student’s age, level and goal. If it is not the right fit, message us and we will move the student to a different teacher. You do not lose the hours you have already paid for.

How long is a lesson, and how often should we book?

Lesson length and frequency are agreed with your teacher and depend on the student’s age and goal. Younger children usually do better with shorter, more frequent lessons; exam candidates often want longer sessions closer to the exam date. Your package is measured in hours, so you are free to arrange them the way that suits you.

What happens in the first lesson?

The teacher checks the student’s current level, asks what they want to achieve and by when, and then builds the lesson plan around that. Nothing is decided before the teacher has actually spoken to the student.

How do I know my child is really improving?

Every quiz, exam and piece of homework is graded and charted by skill, so you see listening, reading, writing and speaking separately, plus a trend line across the term. That is deliberately more useful than a single overall mark, because it shows exactly which skill needs work next.

Can I see what happens in the lessons as a parent?

Yes. Once your child approves the connection from their own account, you get a read-only dashboard with their classes, homework, grades and attendance, and you can message their teacher directly with any question.

What if we have to miss a lesson?

Tell your teacher or our team within your package’s notice period and the lesson is rescheduled at no cost. A no-show, or a cancellation after that point, counts as a used hour.

Do you prepare students for exams, including Turkish ones?

Yes. IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and Cambridge, and the Turkish exams as well: YDS, YÖKDİL, e-YDS, plus LGS and YKS/YDT English for school students.

What do we need to join a lesson?

A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. Your teacher sends the meeting link, so there is nothing complicated to install.
